I like it. I hear it in more of a bluesy/rock or country/rock, but I'm not really good at genre labeling so.... As a woman myself though, I have my fist raised in the air saying, Hell yeah! LOL
Like the idea of the cowbell replacing the naughty words LOL. I've written a couple silly songs myself, they're fun. This one made me smile. I like it.

Tryin hard to move on, ever since you went, a-way. But, I can’t forget the look, of your, face. I swallow my pride, and keep the hurt, inside. But all I do... is cry, since you said, goodbye----. And gettin over you is like cryin in the, rain-- Tryin like hell to wash away, the pain. Knowin nothin’s ever gonna be the same, everytime I hear your name. When I think of you , my heart, still breaks-- Tell myself I’m gonna be, okay. Holdin on...for one more day! And there’s nothin left tooo, say--- Cause, gettin over you is like, cryin in the, rain. Hey, Welcome. Look around in the forums and check out others lyrics. Open mike has some really great song demos to listen to. If you like a song someone wrote, just comment and let them know.
