SONGWRITING AT 70

I`ve only recently started writing songs,after a lifelong Passion for all types of Music.Now I know Country Music is an Aquired Taste,and probably has a minimal following amongst the "Younger" Generations.But Country Music tells stories of real life and loves,sometimes not all good!Somebody asked me" Why dont you write more cheerful songs?" The answer,because life is NOT all cheerful.The depth and Soul of life is far more interesting than meaningless waffle!
