Wrote this a few years ago; some of the most fun I've had writing.  Have as much fun reading!

I never put any music to it, not sure if that'd be appropriate for this. But I'd love to hear thoughts

It starts when the sun goes down
It's a perfect sun set
Light penetrates,
Just for a moment that
we could see everything around

Windows are open to her soul
The breeze so inviting
ebb and flow,
Her page was full of writing
The words written from high to low

She looks to the sky and
Sees no clouds
Her perception of it all
So beautiful and loud
She hears her symphony and
Listens to heaven
Her perecption of it all
Tingles on her skin

It's a song that needs singing
The melody and harmony
A flawless duet
Sing for now, so slowly
Leave their ears so sweetly ringing

She's looks forward to the sun rise
Once, each and every day
Rising the horizontal
Behind the singing blue-jay
Red and orange reflected in her eyes

She looks to the sky and
See no clouds
Her perception of it all
So beautiful and loud
she hears her symphony and
Listens to heaven
Her perception of it all
Tingles on her skin

Excellent writing Josh.  I see no reason why this should not be set to music. Whether poetry or song it sings with wonder. I think it would make a fine song. Who is to say what is appropriate other than you the writer?  Please consider it.

Nice write regardless.
