This was a fun write that I did about a year ago. Genre suggestions? Any help to improve would be welcome.

 Also looking for a collaborator to take a stab at this.

Wooh, Gwyneth. I feel sorry for the guy on the receiving end of this lady's fury. Lol 

At first glance, I think it pretty much works as is. When do we hear the music?

Genre?   I get a country vibe. Lady who is majorly pissed off and is venting in much the style of Alanis Morissette or Carrie Underwood.

 

If I see something I think could help in the way of a suggestion I'll pop back in.

Hmmm Country vibe you say? Maybe blues rock or similar? I like AM for this yes.

Actually The performer REDD contacted me via Twitter to pick up this song, she said

she thought it had potential and was going to give it to her label. Hmmmm story of my

life, havent heard anything back from her, well who knows maybe someone else will

pick it up Gotta keep the dream alive I always say

I like it. I hear it in more of a bluesy/rock or country/rock, but I'm not really good at genre labeling so....  As a woman myself though, I have my fist raised in the air saying, Hell yeah! LOL

Good write Gwyneth!...I've read it twice to see what suggestions I could make, but I just can't find one. At first I wondered about the "church"- "Lurch" part, but as I re-read it and sung it with a generic melody in my head, it fit and sound fine. And what a fine work this is indeed, great job.
