Brushing the colors

And as the sun broke

Spinning in the beams
on that pristine canvas
of white
She danced to music
only she could hear

ringing in her ears

Winter was a backdrop
a scene for her play
Center stage she held
for the joy of a new day
I watched in silence
as she took to the sky
riding on the joy
of the guiding wind
in mid flight
