Hi! I was cruising the Music Industry Insider forum a bit ago, and they were issuing challenges.  I said "Hey, give me one!"  MAB instructed Yann Causeret and I to co-write.  Here is what we came up with.  We are looking for constructive feedback on what to improve.

4 years old, she sits in the kitchen, holding Polly Pockets                   
The other hand, distracted, fidgets with her locket                                     
She sees all the tea stained circles on the cherry table top                          
But she doesn't know what happened to her Granny's cup

She looks everywhere for the key that opens heaven's doors                      
They said her Gran was there cause she’s done with earthly chores                       
She remembers how they used to play ring around the rose                                 
But she doesn't know what happened to her Granny's clothes

And today she wished her Gran was there to watch her walk down the aisle            
She looks up to the sky, sees Saturn's rings, feels like Gran is saying "Hi."
