What do you leave for me?
Seems like everybody wants something for free.
They shout "Hope, Change" and "Yes, we can."
Then they go back home, sit and hold out their hands.

You know I don't understand
How anyone wouldn't do all they can
To be strong, free, and live for yourself
Don't sit and wait for someone to help.

Well I don't want you to give me a home.
Just stay out of the way and let stand on my own.
Everybody's right where they wanna be.
And the only thing that I want free is me.

How 'bout rules that are fair?
Let everybody pay their own share.
How 'bout freedom, that's what we need.
Freedom for you and for me.

I'm gonna stand up and try to fly.

I've got the ones who care about me.
And that's all I need.
