Band Aid on a Broken Heart



Every morning  I wake up to watch the sun rise

Splash  some water on my face

 I brush my teeth and put my laundry on the clothes line   

while your memory  fades

Lately I've been catching up on classic movies

watching reruns late at night

MGM with Lewis Stone and Mickey Rooney

I've seen  them all in black and white

I've been taking walks  and getting into yoga

and I've been working on my mind

I'll find love again before this life is over

It's getting better all the time
