This is my first album. I've been telling myself for 20 years I was going to make an album and I finally hit the wood shed and got 'er done. These songs are basically a collection of songs I've written over the past 20 years. I left out most of my ballads because I wanted my first album to rock. :)
Story behind the song:
Like most of us, 9/11 really had an impact on me and forever changed the way I see the world. I was single when it happened and in my dating over the years, I have met a number of women who knew 9/11 happened, but had no thoughts, opinions or emotions about it or what has happened in the world since. This song is a fictional story based on my own real-life interactions with some women who have chosen to ignor what's going on in our country and the world while pursuing a life of superficial mindlessness. This mindset is by no means limited to the female species.
