This is one I've had in my PLR for a while. I am thinking of having a Pro Demo done of it. I decided to dust it off a bit and put it up here for comments.

He said honey I've got some great news
about a dream that finally came true
The record company liked my songs
and they asked for me to sign on
It's the break that I've been waiting for

Well the look in her eyes
was not what he hoped for
As with a tremble in her voice
she looked up at him and said

Well he thought about
the things she had to say
And how his love for her

As he looked into her eyes
and saw how much she cared 
he smiled and said to her these words

that brings the rainbows to the sky
And while I'm reaching for the stars

firm on the ground

And as the doubt in her eyes
began to fade away
she thought about the things
he had to say
Then she new his love for her
was strong enough to hold
Through any thing that life
could bring their way

whenever you feel small

and if you ever feel that
this life you chose
is taking you too far,
and lifting you too high
