Diane Gee-Frasca songs
Been taking a songwriting class... and we were assigned to write a song using the line "How Does It Feel to Be Wrong".. and we had to be happy we were wrong... um...
this is the best I could come up ...
TO BE WRONG
©2016 Diane Gee-Frasca
Verse 1
For so long, she thought he was wrong for her
He kept trying different ways to win her over
A note left on her car; a firefly in a jar
A necklace, a picnic, and compliments, but nothing worked
If he was wrong for her, he knew… his search he must continue …
CHORUS
How does it feel to be wrong?
Realizing the joy you might be missing out on…
Eternally grateful for what’s to come
How does it feel to be wrong?
Verse 2
She missed him, when he stopped calling on her
She felt empty, like a creek bed without any water
A regretful fact, she never gave him a chance
She knew now, she was wrong about them not being together
She called him and asked if there was still time for her to change her mind
CHORUS (above)
Bridge
Sometimes the last thing experienced, is surprisingly awareness
this is the best I could come up ...
