Better Than Bein Lonely

The wind blows outside our window, the sky is blue as his eyes
 I look at him from across the table cant help but realize
We have no place to go so we stay and talk of only
What weve done or what well do 
and why were better than bein lonely

Even if were slow to move, cant find anything to do
I recognize why were together. its easy with love this true
And even when were sad, feelin insecurity
We make up with a kiss 
cause were better than bein lonely

We live one day at a time an have no expectations
We smile about everything without limitation
 
We might need assurance but I love you makes it right
Just bein there for one another shows us in the best of light               We have our corner & nothin bout its phone                       
Oh we connect in many ways 
and were better than bein lonely

I make his favorite sandwich, peanut butter & bologna
Spaghetti red for dinner tonight
 but were better than bein lonely
Oh we recognize why were together
