Original Songs, written by Eddie Minyard
Brief history lesson - In 1838, after the discovery of gold in Dahlonega, Georgia, Andrew Jackson ordered the removal of Native Americans from their homes. They were forced to march to new reservations in Oklahoma. 3000 children, women and men died on that Trail of Tears. At the time they were forcibly removed, the Cherokee were a very civilized nation.
