INTRO

The words he said as he fell dead...
were so un-real to me...
was it a curse or solemn promise?
...a strange Epiphany?

What can I tell you, Pilgrim, Stranger...
could revenge be in it's beak?
Who was the target?  Was there Danger?
Does it prey upon the weak?

INSTRUMENTAL BREAK

It stood before me... armed in anger...
a victim at it's feet...
Then stared ahead... that cruel life changer...
and tore into the meat!

I stood my ground with weapon ready...
it sneered at my surprise.
With nerves on fire... my palms so sweaty...
I peered into it's eyes.

It's vacant stare... stood up my hair...
I heard that awful cry...
then quickly... it was in the air...
and flew off... in the sky.
