Another Super Bowl Sunday... my team didn't make it...
so I'll watch on TV...  I'll watch anyway...
'cause I love those commercials...  they really get to me...
on Super-Bowl Sunday...  an All-American Day!

Church in the morning... the message was perfect...
and Sally Golightly...  is sure looking good...
I'll follow the crowd... to the Butterrmilk Diner...
and maybe I'll see her... if only I could.

Super Bowl Sunday... whether losing or winning...
some of the players... are misunderstood...
acting like children... but I keep on grinning...
'cause I'm thinking of someone... in my neighborhood.

Super Bowl Sunday... the game's almost over...
a touch-down will win it... the ball's in the air...
for a glorious minute...  I'm stuck in the moment...
the Quarterback slings it... but it's going no-where.
On Super-Bowl Sunday... it doesn't seem fair...
'cause tomorrow is Monday... and I'll owe you a beer.
