Here's another "different" song (yeah yeah...I know I always say that).  It started out as a way to experiment with rhyming and syllables and other nonsense, and wound up...well, like this.  Somehow, a wee-bit of "Lullaby of Birdland" (George Shearing) crept into the horn soli (???)too.  As always, Pete Generous (here on SongRamp as "pgenerous") took this thing to a whole 'nuther place with his remarkably subtle and tastey drumming.  At this point we're like brothers of different mothers:-)  It was also the first time in a couple of years that I was able to corral Dan Mullins (here on SongRamp under "shockwave199") into doing guitar.  For this one he brought over his lovely Gibson 345 and layed two tracks (live doubled) with the horn section...LOVELY!  Dan's a real ace as I just layed this thing on him cold and being the pro that he is, he just dug-in and nailed it.  I'm hoping to get Andy Sidari ("monument")to do another of his wonderful bass tracks when he can and might just repost at that time.  In the meanwhile, this is what we got :-)
