Work, Work, Work
I can’t seem to catch a break
when I leave home early
I’m still an hour late
and every day seems three weeks long
I never get a darn thing done
Working ain’t no fun
I’ve got a pile of bills to pay
I had to take a second job
Just to keep the wolves at bay
I do overtime to boost my pay
Don’t Know why Ya’ll do me this way ... hey ...
work, work, work work, work, work work, work, work
I’m on a treadmill got to run
the work goes on and on and on and on
I work from nine till five o’clock
But nothing ever seems to really get done
Cause this working for the man just ain’t no fun ...
work, work, work work , work, work work, work, work
Break
work, work, work
I got a wife, three kids, a dog and a cat
at the end of the month we pass the hat
if there’s any left over we pay it all back
in taxes anyway so I called off today
I’m on a treadmill I got to run
the work goes on and on and on and on ...
work, work, work.
I work from nine till five o’clock
but nothing ever seems to really get done
Cause this working for the man just aint no fun ...
work, work, work.
