In May of this year Big Daddy and I left the confines of the Creek here in Nashville to attend GeeDiane's Ohio Bash. That Friday night we were invited to join some other rampers at Rard's house so we went and had a lovely time.. Everyone was outside chatting, catching up, knockin back some coldies prior to going inside to make some music.. I slipped in a bit early to get tuned up and stretch my fingers.. I was mindlessly noodling along and the chord progression of this song just "appeared".. I looked up to find Mrs Rard and GeeDiane in the room listening intently.. One of them said "did you write that? what's it called?" I looked up and said "uh.. well, I guess I wrote it - it just came to me outta the blue.. " and I thought for a moment and said, "It's called Bling" and thus a song was born.. This is an instrumental version - we're going to try some vocals (scat stuff - no wordies)..
