Meet Taylor Morris
Taylor(and the great disconnect)
There is a girl, named Taylor
who is autistic by nature
she had to learn comunications skills
to be able to socialize with the likes of you and me
and though she succeeded, she knows full well
that her greatest asset is what she calls the great disconnect
now she can pull the wool over the eyes
of acquaintences and passerbye's
but those who venture to get close to her
know this great diconnection is what seperates
her from the here and now world that dominates mere mortals
and how lucky is Taylor, that she can drift away
go into a world where the spectacular rules the day
it's a very private place, so we'll never know exactly where she goes
but it's oh so much fun to guess, perhaps she's been blessed
with an intimate knowledge of the Inca's
or the mathematical genius of the pyramids
the inception of the great wall of china
or maybe the ink in the pen of the man who wrote mother goose
the onset of the erection of stonehenge
to unhook all chains and to break loose
from the insanity of mundanity
we will never know where this great disconnect take Taylor
could be it's a blank state
where she sees the unfolding of the universe
like it should be
but wherever it may take her
this great disconnect is what seperates
