Earlier today Gilly uploaded an instrumental which inspired me to write something; I've since played it for Gilly and though she liked it a lot, I'm not sure I have permission to post this, hmmm, like a lot is like a lot so I'll take my chances :)

Happier Tomorrows

I have two penny whistle pieces in different keys, and the tempos don't resemble each other, and when I strung them together, the blue began to fade from the sky, and Picasso drawings suddenly had normal sized eyes, and the salt rose from the ocean, which attracted rainbow flavored potato chips, and kids from every nationality sat in a circle, and chanted no more sorrows, and happier tomorrows, there's something about discordant sounds in the mind of babes that makes the world go round! :)

watching the lilly pods change colorsas each child reached for higher notes, and  sang the rainbow full circle, and it was no work at all to bring a smile to the faces of the grown ups, who were so desperate to hold on to love, love of being, love of seing, things go right, so tired of all the wrongs and so they sang along, no more sorrows, and happier tomorrows, there's something about discordant sounds in the mind of babes of all ages that makes the world go round
