TOS EPISODE 10

Rob and Anna were standing in line waiting for theirmorning coffee, when over the two way, a domestic disturbance at 41-56 Maple off main st. Rob looked at Anna, before coffee, geez,  what did you say about that vacation?Soon Rob soon, grumbled Anna, as they left for the scene,without their fair share of caffeine. When they arrived, a manon the front porch was ranting and cursing, you cheating bitch, waving a gun around, Rob in a deep baritone voice said, sir, please put your weapon down, don't do anything you'll regret for the rest of your life. The woman yelled from outa window, please save me. Anna said relax, please don'tscream, it'll only make matters worse. Rob told the man, justput your gun down, and we can go to the station, and talkabout this as adults. The man said I'm gonna kill her, then wecan talk all you want. Anna said, listen Mr. do you want tospend your life being some thugs, girl, do you, really wantthat. The man looked to the sky, contemplating his future, atin that vacant second, Rob rushed in and disarmed the perp.

After booking the gentleman, Rob said, ok Anna, how aboutwe get some coffee, and Anna replied, yeah and a little grub,these domestic disturbances make me hungry, Rob laughed, yeah ok it's a deal. Back in line, when would you believe it, another call over the radio. A man with a knife is refusing to payat a fast food restuarant, something about runny eggs, Robasked Anna is it 10:30 yet, no Rob, it's a quarter to ten, goodsaid Rob if we hurry, we can get coffee there, Anna just shookher head. When they got to the scene, Rob walked right pastthe man, and ordered some coffee and two sunnyside up eggs,Anna rolled her eyes, when Rob said make that two, no makethat three, then turned to the man, and said are you happy now.The three of them sat down and ate breakfast, then they were off to the precinct, to do more paperwork.

The rest of their day was going much smoother, and it was nearing the end of their shift, when Anna said Holly MollyRob, that car is doing at least one twenty in a forty. Rob turned on the siren to give chase, but it was too late. A man crossing the street with his five year old son, threw his son out of harms way, but the speeding vehiclemowed him down, his bloody body, laying there, dead as dead can be, with his son standing over him, daddy get up, daddy please get up. The man in the speeding car, came toa crashing halt a few blocks down. Anna pulled him out ofthe wreck and said, life as you know it, no longer exists, I'mgoing to see to it personally that you never see the light ofday again. Anna turned away, as she thought about theirchildren, and she simply broke down and cried,,,,
