This is the lead off song on the CD and the 1st single I am trying to release in the South Bend area.
 
When he was 8 my middle son Zach (who has co-written a couple of songs on the album) got into trouble at school. He also go into trouble with me at home. I sent him to bed for his punishment and as he walked up the stairs he stopped, turned around and told me "You hate me".

It broke my heart that he didn't understand and later that night I couldn't sleep as I kept thinking about his comment. I got up and wrote this in about 20 minutes in an effort to tell him how I felt. He has munchkins of his own now and he understands:-) I hope you enjoy..........
