I got a new amp, a Marshall JTM45 and a 4X12 cab w/ "Greenback" Celestions. This is the basic set up that almost every late 60's early 70's guitarist's used and some still do to this day.

It inspired this chord progression and I wrote a set of lyrics that mean absolutely nothing to me. I have written and shared some really personal songs, not this time.

I played everything (Drums are EZ Drummer). 2 guitar rhythms (3 mics each), lead, vocal, bass and drums. I usually take 6-8 months and 40+ tracks to do a song and have some I've wrestled with for 10 years.

Not this one, 8 days from "Ooooh my new amp sounds cool" to done. No more than 3rd take for any track, embraced the flaws, resisted any "great idea" add ins and it is what it is, Im already working on another one.

I channeled my best Bon Scott for the lyric and vocal and my best Angus on the lead.

This one was just about having fun, the joy of creation, which I may or may not have lost track of over the years.
