I have never written a Christmas song before--I am basically a scrooge. :)
My wife laughed her butt off when she heard me (the scrooge) trying to sing a Chistmas song
anyway here is my entry and my attempt at NOT scroogeing :)

HOLIDAYS

Raving Rat Studio
The snow is falling and the air is crisp and clear
The fire is roaring and its nice and warm in here
lets cuddle up down by the fireplace and
forget about the cold outside
you grab the wine I'll grab some mistletoe and
we'll make some memories tonight
holidays, holidays, how I love these holidays
holidays holidays, man I love these holidays
the tree is trimmed, the stockings hanging in a row
I hope old Santa makes it through the driving snow
I left a glass of milk, and three big cookies
on the table by the tree
I left a couple shots of Old Jack Daniels
to warm up his big belly
BREAK
you know how much I really love this season
and this lovely holiday
I hope you know how much I love you honey
each and every day
chorus
Morning is coming and the Grandkids will soon be here
can't wait to see them and spread some Christmas cheer
their lovely smiles and their happy faces
fills my heart with happiness
the look of wonder in their big bright eyes
when they open their gifts
holidays, Holidays how I love the holidays--repeat till end
