HERE IS MY FEEBLE ATTEMPT AT A COUNTRY MUSIC SONG :)
I wish Brad (Showdog) was playing the guitar and singin and his dad was playing the steel, (wouldn't that be great) but it's just me. :( dang the luck--
A few weeks ago I awoke in the middle of the night with this chorus playin in my head---I sang it into my little hand recorder that I keep handy so I wouldn't forget it--anyway to shorten the story, The Kind and talented Pamela Novikoff listened to my song and threw some lines at me and then I changed some and added some and now I am tired of it (I have a short attention span)so I am going to post and forget it.--I think I sound like a cat that just got it's tail stepped on

Well I don't know why---she said Goodbye
said she don't recall-----lovin me at all
I can't believe----what she did to me
and her leavin me should ----be a felony
now i'm throwin back doubles, to drown my troubles
the ones i got when -------she walked out on me
and i'm throwin back doubles, but i still got troubles
so i'll keep on drinkin, till i'm on my knees
Was I so blind ---I couldn't see the signs
and I have no doubt--I'll be eating take-out
so I'll take My feet---and I'll be hittin' the street
With my old suitcase and this Gold wedding ring
so i'm throwin back doubles, to drown my troubles
the ones i got when -------she walked out on me
and i'm throwin back doubles, 'cause i still got troubles
so i'll keep on drinkin, till i'm on my knees

Was the final straw---before I broke his jaw
