I?m just tryin? to find the place
Where I?m supposed to be
I learned some skills along the way
Some you cannot see
But there ain?t nothing special about me

I was born like everybody else
Some may say, in poverty
Some would deem it wealth
But we share a common journey
Far as I can see
There ain?t nothing special about me

I can play.  I can sing.
Got some clever tricks I do
But what are they, all those things,
If they distance me from you?

I?m not tryin?  to put myself down
I believe God has a reason
For keeping me around
I was put down here to change the world
But I hope that you can see
