My apology for reposting. I wanted to repost with my vocals editted for tonal corrections. cold is gone! For those who posted comments on the original version, No need to post a review again....I just wanted to get this version on my page instead. I'm pleased with the edit more so than the previous version. John, thank you so much for your input on your suggestion for title, I decided to keep it the same...just a gut feeling I guess. You are correct in your opinion though, and I respect your thoughts immensely as you know. You are truly a remarkable writer, performer, inspiration and friend. Tom and Denille...lol@(Sandbagger!)Too funny....made my day! JB..Larry...thanks for all you do! A huge thanks to all that listened and posted on previous version. Means so much! I included your posts below from previous version: jimmyjam 2009-02-23 lot of feel flowing here ron,,great keys,,good vocals,,,love the string sounds dillon 2009-02-23 I love the analogy of the steps down the road. You're vocals sound smooth and full (you sandbagger - cold indeed!) Great words and sounds! Love the feeling! RJC 2009-02-23 Really well done Ron, love the passion in this, excellent! Showdog-Studios 2009-02-23 Very nice melody and production. Vocals sound good to me and the lyric is tight. Very nice. Peace, Brad Tburd54 2009-02-23 Great chorus Ron..has such a commercial feel..easy to sing along after hearing it...I could hear so many artists covering this one...nice work man (cold or no cold you did a good job)) Terry pianoman3 2009-02-23 Love the delicate, intimate arrangement, Ron and your trade-mark overlapping vocals lift it nicely where needed. Your title didn't grab me and doesn't come across strongly in the song, IMHO. I liked the way you gently lift and push the music along with the bass/kick drum. A fine song and I hope I catch your cold so I can improve MY vocals. Enjoyed the listen. ~ John jbthegeezer 2009-02-23 Man you have a great set of pipes and you use them well, nice arrangement too. Jerry DenilleSpears 2009-02-23 Love this Ron...lyric and melody are excellent...vocal sounds great too. Dillion is right - sandbagger :) Lijemtu 2009-02-23 Sounds good to me, Ron. Nice to see you back in action Bill Rard 2009-02-23 wish I could get a 'linger'n cold' like this. excellent Ron. you have such a big voc sound. your signature build and releases, simple production and weave in the arrangement easily makes this another hit IMHO. Beeswing 2009-02-23 I like to hear you in this mellow Rn'B mode....sweet.... DaveRice 2009-02-23 Ron... pianoman pretty well said everything just right about this exceptional song. Great job. Dillon should not be calling you a sandbagger unless you two have been playing golf recently... LOL! Enjoyed. Dave Porkbeli 2009-02-23 Man, I wish I could catch that cold. It's also interesting - kinda like a Backstreet Boys song, maybe ? Their songs are great and tightly crafted, so this is a compliment. This arrangment is a cool combination of soothing strings and energizing motion (the drums). It works great. Thanks for sharing this! - Phil Yodelady 2009-02-24 I really enjoyed listening to you sing. I feel the power, the tenderness and all shades of emotion flowing with your easy control over it all. Your cold didn't hurt it a bit. The arrangement was hypnotic as you lifted the end of the lines in such a delicate a-way leading the listener deeper into the story. Your music fits the song so very well; I love it! Annie uniquedenise 2009-02-24 Oh the pain of lost love! Madore Vocals, lyric, instruments: Ron Madore Too Much for this heart to decide Even my shadow hides Maybe it's the light I've seen, subside The road we've been sharing steps Now leads to lonliness Somehow I've missed the sign that said you left (chorus) And I need you to turn back now Just like you never left I've been the fool to not hear the sounds (the sounds of your voice) Of your voice calling my heart You said it couldn't be found It's just a heart with the biggest frown If I could relive our moments I'd listen more patiently I'd show you that no one else compares I've made mistakes along the way I still regret to this day We've been thru, endless change But somehow love still... Still remains (chorus) (Refrain) Whoa... Can you feel my love Feel my love Reachin' out for you Out for you, whoa, yea (chorus)
