My first song played on radio in 2004 locally on radio station 96.7 (The buzzard) out of Greenville, SC. The story behind this is that a radio DJ happened to stumble into this nightclub where I was performing this song....he bought the CD after hearing this song (CD's....always good thing to have while performing gigs) and he began playing this song within the local station's rotation of "Homespun"... Hearing this on the radio was truly a memorable moment I will never forget. He played it often and told me he received numerous compliments from call-ins. His name is Ron too.
