This tune has had a funny birthing process...Got the first wave of inspiration while on my mail route,then 2nd wave while at St.Simons Island GA. with Sarah and the pups...but the original idea came from me reading a bio on Nick Drake called "Darker than the Deepest Sea" in which Drake said(I'm paraphrasing him) that he wished life could be like a song,because he had trouble interracting/conveying thoughts to people in real life but in a song he could say it perfectly...
I feel that way ALL the time..I'm clumsy with relationships and never say at the moment what I shoulda said..later I think of the appropriate line..lol..
BUT check out Nick Drake for the best music you'll ever hear(man,I LOVE that early 70's folk sound!),and check this song out if u like bouncy melodies...--ts
