We came up with this song idea while in Wilmington,N.C. on my pilgrimage to the Ukulele Academy down there to buy a Kamaka ukulele...I played an 8-string Kamaka, wanted to sleep on it before buying next day,but alas a guy bought it next morn before I got there..lol..so fate I think led me to buy a banjo-lele instead..back at our rental house I got a waltz melody in my head ,then Sarah joined in with some preliminary lyrics(we were both inspired by Felice & Boudleaux Bryant who wrote those high lonesome songs for the Everly's & others)...back home, jonesin' still for a Kamaka uke,I bid on a 6-string one off EBAY and a week later it arrived from Hawaii..;)

Follow the Music
music,vocals,ukulele by Timothy Scott
lyrics by Sarah & Timothy Scott
(1) Lost in a crowd
Until you turned around
I was drawn to the light of your smile
You took a chance
And offered your hand
And I gratefully took it in mine
Chorus:
Your arms around me / are all that I need
We follow the music wherever it leads
Don’t dance alone / or spin out of control
Just find our rhythm and never let go
We have and we hold
(2) Before we met
I felt out of step
My feet seemed unwilling to move
My heart had no song
It just stumbled along
All my memories were tinted blue
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: Together we glide / Turning left and then right
Partners for life / Moving in time
(3) Lost in a crowd
Until you turned around
I followed the music to you
