Copyright 2008, Harris HobbyI guess I have a lot to say about this one. So, bear with me. The last one I posted was about 2 minutes long. You'll have to have more patience with this one. Not ideal for the web environment, but...This is about those that we love that have troubles... Troubles with alcohol. Trouble with drugs. Etc. It's about how we get mad at them. Disappointed in them. And, yet, have hope for them.As with many of my songs, it starts slow and (hopefully) builds. I like some of the rhymes from the 2nd verse on. I set out to write a song with only two chords and no chorus1) because I thought it helped capture the mood of "lazy and wasted" and 2) to see what it would come out like.The vocal is a little too loud as this was mixed on headphones, but the hard -drive crashed after that and it will take a while to remix. And, I'm "lazy and ..."Sit back, slow down. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. I hope you like it.
