In June, TimothyScott called me and asked if I would like to drive down to Georgia for the weekend to meet and make some music  with Pianoman3, BoReevas and Aprilshowers60!!  So, before we left on a Saturday morning, I sat down with my acoustic guitar and wrote a nice little melody and a set of lyrics called Dark Angel..

We headed off the GA to meet the gang!!  After hauling in all the gear and getting acquainted a bit, we all listened to the demo that I had put down and I sang the melody.yes, I DO sing but its a fairly painful process.for the listenersLOL!!! Jim and Rich put down the basic tracks while listening to my demo while I sang!!  Then John put down the keyboard parts!!  I was manning the KorgD1600 to capture it all for posterity!!  The BoReevas boys and John were nothing short of spectacular!!

Then in July Tim and I recorded his vox over the instrumental tracks we had captured in GA!!  I mixed it down and posted it in my PLR for the gang to hear!!  While no one came right out and said it sucked, the reviews were somewhat less than glowing..lol!!  

So I did several things!!  I compressed every track to cut about 25 seconds of run time, which also effectively increased what was a kinda draggy tempo!!  I also completely overhauled the lyricwith one of my favorite co-writers..my friend Diane!!  Thanks so much Diane!!  Then Tim came BACK over and completely recut the new lyric over the souped up tracks!!  As a final tweak, I added the slide guitars..So thats the story of how a once Dark Angel became THE
