First of all on this one, I have to say a special ?Thank You? to Diane Barnes (?Dia? here on SongRamp) for sending me such a great, hooky lyric idea to start with?.without that, this song would have never happened!!
Second, Trudi as always had the great patience to stick it out with me through a number of rewrites and ?do overs? as this song started to evolve based on Dia?s original idea and hook!!
Third, ?Fast? Ed Minyard?.My Blues Bro? and harp player extrordinarre delivered a blistery and bluesy harp track in no time at all that was dead on perfect for the vibe I was going after in this song?.
Lastly, I guess this song marks my SongRamp debut carrying the lead vocal (albeit in a leaky bucket)?.Can you tell I listened to a few country songs when I was growing up?? LOL?..Please be gentle?..;-)
