Many months ago my very good friend Peenie86 (Trudi Cross) sent me a draft lyric and a bit of a melody called ?Slow and Easy??..This one already had a bit of history in the Ramp Writers room, but Trudi asked me if I was interested in playing around with it and seeing what I came up with??
I had it for a while and didn?t make much headway but while talking with JenRen (Jenny Nixon) online one day, I shared Trudi?s original with her and we wrote the bulk of this final lyric in IMs in an afternoon?s time!! There were of course changes afterwards by all three of us, but the lyric was done?
Finding a singer was another matter?.LOL?.After some on again/off again project startups, we finally settled on our friend Shannon!! And as always, she had the depth and emotion to pull it off?.in a grand fashion!!
