Last week I posted an instrumental piece for a soundtrack that I was asked to compose for a video to promote a novel that a friend of mine and his co-author are getting published and getting pitched for a motion picture. I was told that the authors' agent knows Larry and Andy Wachowski, who wrote and directed the "Matrix" films and will be pitching it directly to them. I was asked to compose a "love theme" for a segment of the video that will be hyping the novel, and this is what I came up with. I was told that there's a good chance that I might end up having some of what I've done for the video actually used in the music score for the film. Crossing my fingers and saying a prayer.
