Dana Sigmon songs
Don't cha just love to laugh? Man, I know I do... and sometimes the best thing I can do for myself or anyone else is laugh and/or give 'em something to laugh about... Hope this one makes you at least smile big...
"There Goes The Neighborhood"
Written by: Sigmon/Ashworth/Dan Demay
Vocal: Cody James
VS I
Bought a 1958, 12 by 68, two-tone wood grained home. It had burnt orange, deep pile shag carpet and an avocado stove. Parked it so far back in the Holler we had to pipe the sunshine in... one night she hooked it up to her pick-up truck and pulled out as I was pulling in.
~CHORUS~
"There Goes the Neighborhood", everything that I call good is rolling down the road. Nothing left at the site but a burned up grill and some bent up pipe. I wonder if this means shes gone for good? "There Goes the Neighborhood".
VS II
She never gave me a reason, guess there ain't no pleasin' a woman who's got it all: moo-moo's, flip-flops, appointments at the "Parlor" every time her Beehive would fall. Tried to keep her happy, barefoot and pregnant, so she wouldn't be home alone. Now I'm a king without a Castle... she even took the throne.
~CHORUS~
~Bridge~
They say you don't know how good you've got it, till all you've got is gone. One day she's gonna wake up and bring our home sweet home back home...
~CHORUS~
