About 8 years ago, a couple friends of mine and I used to get together on Thursday nights to jam, and try to develop some original instrumental things. This is one of my personal favorites that we came up with. I was feeling a bit nostalgic tonight and decided to listen to some of the stuff we'd done back then. I came across this one, called "Coastline", and decided to post it here on the Ramp to see what you all think. The electric rhythm guitar part was played by Kirk Fernwood, the bass guitar by Chris Barbour, and I did the lead guitar part. We recorded most of this "live", with a basic drum pattern from one of my drum machines (as a "click" track), and then I went back in a little later, touched it up some with some strings and drums, and did a quick mix. I'm thinking about re-recording this one at some point down the road, if you all think it's worth re-doing. As always, I appreciate any comments.
