Believe it or not, the inspiration for this song came from a chatroom of all things. Back in 2001 I belonged to a parenting group on Yahoo. When the moderator, Alison, said "Hello, Mike!" I heard the music in her voice: A-C-A-D. Then I built this song based on those notes. (To this day she doesn't know.)I wrote it on the baby grand that the Marriott in north Lexington had. Used to stop in there and practice - because they didn't shoo me off! lolTonight I finally used my Korg Triton and recorded it to the computer.
