Here's mine and Di's second offering with our new recording software. It's an edgy Country-Pop tune a la Lady Antebellum. A couple of things...it's long, five minutes! We can shorten it a whole minute by bumping the bpm by about 6 and cutting the long guitar solo in half. But, unless we were to get serious bites on it, we don't want to do that...we kind of like it as is in that regard. Also, we are gonna redo the vocals on the chorus real soon. The harmony isn't as tight as we would like and we're gonna give that first line in the chorus a totally different vocal treatment...it's not working too good as is. Whatcha think?
Thanks for your visit and comment you;d care to leave...All the best,
Di and Al
"LIVING WITHOUT YOU"

(v1)
FEMALE:
Baby why’d you have to go, and leave me in this misery
Sittin’ here telling myself
This isn’t how it ought to be
Like a shadow in the dark, there’s nothing left of me to see
Give me a call, Baby come back to me
MALE:
Oh, I was such a fool, to walk away from you that way
I almost picked up the phone
So many things I’d like to say
No I can’t expect you, to forgive me of sin
But I’d give anything, to be with you again
CHORUS
Whoa, living without you is a living hell, oh, yes it is
Baby won’t you give me a call
Say you wanna be with me
That’s the only thing you need to do
I can’t go on, whoa I can’t go on
I can’t go on living without you
(v2)
(F) Baby if you only knew, and how I wish you could see
(M) The memories rolling down my cheeks
The dreams of things that might never be
(F) Can’t unsay what was said, can’t undo what we have done
But you’ll always be the only one
(F) Phone ringing first time in days, tell me Baby is that you
(M) Yes it’s me and if you’ll take me back
I’ll do anything you want me to
(F) Tell me that you love me, don’t have to beg or plead
Come on home, cuz Honey that’s all I need
REPEAT CHORUS
