Another new one from Diana & me. It's a Rhumba with a little bit of Cha-Cha percussions...I guess that makes it a "Rhu-Cha"! Diana wrote most of the lyric and sang the vocals (you can quickly tell it's not me singing...ha!). I wrote music and added a word or two to the lyric. Hope you like it a little bit...and thanks for your listens and comments...Di & Alan
GHOST FROM THE PAST

VI
SHE WALKS THE DARKENED STREETS AT NIGHT
NEVER IN THE LIGHT OF DAY
GREEN EYES THAT GLOW LIKE A CAT ON THE PROWL
THAT SEEM TO LIGHT HER WAY
SHE FLOATS LIKE A CLOUD UPON THE COBBLESTONES
SURROUNDED IN MYSTERY
NO ONE KNOWS WHO OR WHAT SHE IS
THEY JUST LET HER BE…..
CHORUS
SOME SAY SHE’S A GHOST FROM THE PAST
LOOKING FOR HER LOVER
SHE DIED OF A BROKEN HEART
WHEN HE FOUND ANOTHER….
SO EACH NIGHT SHE SEARCHES
TO FIND HIM ONCE AGAIN
(SHE’S JUST A GHOST FROM THE PAST – LAST CHORUS ONLY)
VII
SHE WALKS THRU THE TOWN IN A WEDDING GOWN
THAT SHE WAS TO WEAR THAT DAY
WITH FLOWERS IN HER HAIR WILTED ON THEIR STEMS
AND DUST ON A FADED BOUQUET
SEARCHING EVERY NIGHT WITH THE MOON FOR HER LIGHT
SHE WAITS FOR DARKNESS AGAIN
TO WALK THE STREETS LIKE ALWAYS BEFORE
IN A SEARCH THAT WILL NEVER END.
CHORUS
INSTRUMENTAL
REPEAT CHORUS
