I've been away for quite a while. I won't bore you with the story, but it's been a very difficult road to travel lately. But, music is always a great way to forget everything else and just let your feet dance and your soul warm. It's good to be back with all my Ramper buds!
Here's one Di and I wrote a couple of weeks ago but I just got around to recording it late last night. It's Contemporary Country with a bit of a Classic Country feel...maybe something George Strait might do. Yeah, wouldn't that be nice! Hope you enjoy it. Hi again, to all all your great Rampers!

I'll Be Alright
(v1)
You had to leave, you couldn't stay
It wasn't right for you
There was nothing I could say
Nothing I could do
You said it wasn't me, I shouldn't take the blame
You said you'd worry 'bout me just the same
CHORUS
When the wind don't blow, the rain don't fall
And the stars don't shine at night
When love doesn't matter
Don't you worry, then I'll be alright
INSTRUMENTAL
CHORUS
When the wind don't blow, the rain don't fall
And the stars don't shine at night
When love doesn't matter
Don't you worry, then I'll be alright
(v2)
When you left, my world went dark
Clouds filled up the sky
I tried my best to stop them
But tears filled up my eyes
I saw you turn your cheek, so I wouldn't see you cry
You said you'd pray for me with your goodbye
CHORUS
When the wind don't blow, the rain don't fall
And the stars don't shine at night
When love doesn't matter
Don't you worry, then I'll be alright
