Hey...I'm back again! After a tumultuos personal life for a while, things are settling in pretty gnicely now. Hopefully, I can be here much more regularly, now.
Here'a fun little song my partner, Diana, and I wrote not long ago. We don't take it too serious...itls just a little fun song. Although I have done a couple of Reggae songs inbdividually in the past, this is our first collab in the Reggae genre. Hope ya'll like it just a touch.
There's some distracting background noises in places, particularly in the Intro. They make the song sound a bit muffled in places...will redo it when we get time. Can't get rid of them...can't find the source. Nonetheless, hope it sounds OK otherwise. That's Diana on vocals.
And Diana and I aren't saying what we're doing with that Jello...WooHoo!!!!
I was just reminded I forgot to post the lyric...what an idiot I am sometimes...duh! Here ya go...
Just uploaded a newer version...most of the b/g noises are gone and brought the voice more forward in the mix. Let us know if it sounds any better than the original...thanks!
Strawberry Jello
(v1)
My Baby knows what to do
When I’m sad and blue
He don’t bring me candy or flowers
He brings me colors from a rainbow
He knows how to make me smile
He knows just what I like
CHORUS
My baby brings me Jello, Strawberry
Not cherry, not grape, not banana
He knows I love Strawberry
Strawberry Jello, Strawberry Jello
(v2)
When I can’t find a song
When my heart can’t sing along
When me feet refuse to do dance
There’s only one thing to do
My Baby knows what it takes
To make me want to sing again
CHORUS
MUSIC INTERLUDE
CHORUS TWICE
