Christine Campbell songs
I did it AGAIN! forgot to convert to mp3! What a ditz
This is the first song I wrote myself, lyrics and music. Since I can't play anything, I just had to sing it about a hundred and fifty times, then race to Bill's house and sing it to him....voila! a man with a piano, and a song of my own was born...and a country tune from a blues singer, imagine that :)
A Star

Christine Campbell
I see the moon, shining down on me
You see it too, shining down on you
This love between us travels so far
As we gaze at the same bright star
Out of them all, I know it's the one
I can feel you near, no matter how far
Words we can't speak, sounds we can't hear
All come together in this star we share
It's been so long, can't remember when
But I see you in the moon every now and then
I feel your breath upon my neck
As a soft breeze blows in from the west
I miss you often, but I'm never sad
Few of us know what it's like to have
A feeling so strong, it travels through space
To end up right here in this special place
A place in time no one can touch
Like reaching a star, there's never enough
Darkness of day, clear sky at night
To gaze at this star we share so bright
I see the moon, shining down on me
You see it too, shining down on you
You see it too, shining down on you
