the sun always shines on the cloudy days
and when it rain, it shines anyway
just because you didn't see
doesn't mean you can't believe
that the Son is gonna shine on you
all you gotta do is believe

the sun always rises, every day
nothing unusual, same old way

doesn't mean you can't believe
that the Son rose that day
on the third day 
all you gotta do is believe

now, believin' is really kinda simple
if you have the faith of a child
put your cares and worries in Jesus
and put on that childlike smile

the sun always sets everyday
and when it leaves it takes its light
just because you didn't see
doesn't mean you can't believe
that the Son is gonna come again
and when He does, He'll bring His light
all you gotta do is believe
