True story.  I returned home a few years back to Bangor Maine and me and my girlfriend at that time would go for walks in the Mt.Hope cemetary.(the same one that Stephen King has filmed in) Thats when she told me the story about a young boy who had died on Christmas day seven years ago in a hockey game and was buried there.  She said that she would see his parents visiting the grave site with flowers and more often than not, were crying.  I never knew the boy or his parents but was touched by the story.  I approached the tomb and quietly asked him if I could write a song.  I believe he said yes.
