It was a cozy little single wide trailer,

a home for her and her aging mother.

It was small but almost all their own.

She worked hard and tried to be a good daughter,

a heavy load on such a small shoulder,

she carried all alone.

But too many rainy days had taken what she'd saved up

with the final notice from the bank she finally gave up.....

So she cried...............

her tears were all she had left to spend,

She went to work that morning scared and defeated

swallowed her pride and told her boss she needed

time off to find them a new place.
