Ann Mayo Muir songs
A couple months back Ken Dankier, everyone's favorite Viking,
offered anyone who wished to work with it, his lovely instrumental
he called Autumn. I wondered what I would do,
and it finally came to me this past week.
Ken offered to do the final mix which,
when I listened, really amazed me .
Hope you enjoy it.
Thank you Ken!
Thank you to Michael (mfrazier) for his suggestion

Thank you to Michael (mfrazier) for his suggestion
to title this song Ever True. I like that.
EVER TRUE
He saw her descending the circular stair
lovely blue ribbons streamed from her hair
They set off the colors swirling so gay
His heart whispered all he wished to say
She saw him from the top of the stair
her intake of breath making her aware
of feelings that blossomed before she could blink
she steadied herself wanting time to think
Moving toward the last step where soon she would appear
He heard the click of her shoes drawing near
A lifetime he'd waited for just such a chance
That she might grant him one sweet dance.

Moving toward the last step where soon she would appear
He heard the click of her shoes drawing near
A lifetime he'd waited for just such a chance
That she might grant him one sweet dance.
But her shoe was caught and she tripped at the end
His arms caught her gently and her laughter did blend
With her smile and her eyes and their grateful glance
As the music began for the start of the dance.
The pattern they were dancing traced upon the floor
Their future steps together through 50 years or more
The best of the tale is the lady you see
Remains ever true to the man holding me.
Remains ever true to the man holding me.
Thank you for listening
