Ann Mayo Muir songs
Here it is ,captured by a Zoom, a song some of you have heard before, sung live for the first time in a showcase advertising the coming event on Oct. 17th of the second CD release concert for "Note's From Across The Sea". Our show is part of the same series. The sound is clear but the picture is a bit fuzzy.
LET'S TALK IT OVER
I don't blame you. Please don't blame me
Something’s wrong, we can't let that be.
Let's talk it over, let's talk it over
Talk it over and see.
Let’s not be angry. Try to stay cool
Don't want to regret acting the fool
Let's talk it over without ridicule
That's the golden rule.
Let the way unwind, whatever we find,
While the path ahead's uncharted
We'll remain open-hearted
Like we were at the start
Cause, I don't blame you Please don't blame me
Something’s wrong We can't let that be.
Let's talk it over Let's talk it over
Talk it over and see.
instrumental ~ A
Don't turn away We can get through
- Whatever it is tell me what's true
With LOVE as our guide, our heart's open Wide
We’ll work out what to do
WE’LL decide, you and I
What the next step will be
And perhaps you'll discover
It's stayin’ here with me
Cause, I don't blame you Please don't blame me
Something’s wrong We can't let that be.
Let's talk it over Let's talk it over
Talk it over and see.
Let the way unwind, Whatever we find,
While the path ahead's uncharted
We'll remain open-heart-ed
Like we were at the start
Instrumental ~ A
“come on honey talk to me,
don’t hold back
tell me how it is”
Let’s talk it over - Talk it over and see ~
