My youngest, Griffin (now 9), has at last showed an interest in music and has begun keyboard lessons.  In addition to the electric piano he practices on, I went out and bought one of the Casio synths with a zillion sounds for him to experiment with.

I thought it would be cool if I recorded a little demo using some of those sounds to get him excited about the possibilities of the instrument.  We ended up having a blast working on it together!  A slapstick narrative emerged which kind of reflects on the frustrations of a parent who yearns in vain for their child to take life more seriously.....

It's been a long time since I've played any serious keyboard, but it was so much fun, I ended up getting a bit self-indulgent, I'm afraid.  Thus, my "little demo" turned into an 8- minute epic!!

This is really silly, but there's hopefully some enjoyable music as well.  The recording features real drums and bass. The rest is all keyboard, performed on a Yamaha pf85 electric piano and a Casio WK-3500 synth.  Without further ado, I present you "Bugaboo!!"......
