Ever heard of Jethro Tull (UK), Eric? He did a few hit songs in 5/4 and is still going. This reminds me of him but I have to say your "Yes" style vocals are much better than his.This is a cool song and a great arrangement, production and the best I've heard on here all week.I really enjoyed listening, thanks. ~ John

Wow! Loved it! Tremendous tracking!!! Nate- you are an animal on that AXE! Eric- when you hit those high "where do we go"'s, I'm loving it. AND I'm thinking, if he can do THAT, why isn't he incorporating that in the song earlier?? I want you to lift the chorus. Go ahead and keep the really high wales for the bridge as you have- but gimme a sneak preview in the chorus! THANK YOU for staying away from Christian-ese. But do check that you remain conversational. (IE: fallen ears, grand delay, etc... think: "would I really SAY that?") Great melody- everything is so perfectly mixed and arranged, too. Big vote!

I'm one of those guys who still listens to a lot of the old "progressive rock" - Gentle Giant, Gryphon, Ecoylyn, early Yes, Tull, etc. This flirts with some of that in a great way yet still sounds contemporary. Nice production! Everyone in the band shines on this one. -Larry
